Media and Knowledge Transfer

Research that reaches beyond the journal. From multilingual cancer resources endorsed by the International Organization for Migration, to writing in The Conversation, Times Higher Education, and the South China Morning Post.

Two consecutive Knowledge Transfer awards from PolyU's Faculty of Humanities reflect Margo's sustained commitment to translating research into community, policy, and industry outcomes.

Ongoing

Clinical Communication Training

Designing and evaluating multilingual simulation-based communication training for final-year nursing and medical students at PolyU — translating research on intercultural health communication into clinical education practice.

International Organisation for Migration & European Union Endorsement

Margo's multilingual cancer awareness resources are among the very few research-to-practice outputs in this field to receive formal endorsement from both the International Organization for Migration (a United Nations agency) and the European Union Delegation in Hong Kong. This recognition reflects both the rigour of the research underpinning them and their practical utility to the communities they are designed to serve.
